NOV090829 Angel #29 3.99 - This is the second issue of Bill (FABLES) Willingham's run on the title, which seems to be flying under a lot of peoples' radars. Worth checking out.

NOV090850 Ghoul #2 3.99 - Also from IDW, the second issue of Bernie Wrightson's new series. How often do you see a new Bernie Wrightson series?

SEP090566 Terry Moores Echo #18 3.50 - Lots of people have been asking about this one. It looks like the series will almost be back on time after this issue.

NOV090241 Unwritten #9 2.99 - The first trade paperback collection of this new Vertigo ongoing series, a mediation on Harry Potter and the nature of stories, came out last week and I read the whole thing cover to cover. It's really solid, maybe even surprisingly so. If you've been looking for a Vertigo book to add to your monthly reading, particularly if you're an old Books of Magic fan, give this one a go. It's really well-written, with well-suited art.

OCT090298 Human Target Chance Meetings TP 14.99 - Speaking of Vertigo series', Peter Milligan's Human Target was one of my favourites while it ran. Striking art, a wonderfully complex storyline, just good stuff all around. This new trade paperback collects both the original 4-issue mini AND the stand-alone graphic novel that served as an epilogue, and launched the ongoing, all for just $15. Highly recommended.

JUL091012 Lola HC 14.95 - This is a new one from J. Torres, a ghost-story for young adults. Looking forward to it.

NOV090626 No Hero TP 19.99 - Warren Ellis' most recent over-the-top hyper-violent superhero series gets a collection. It's kinda like Bratpack?

NOV090797 Olympians GN Vol 01 Zeus King o/t Gods 9.99 - This looked great! Apparently it's also available in softcover. It's a retelling of the birth of the Greek Gods and Zeus deposing Chronos, with lovely art by George O'Connor. If you're a mythology fan take a look.

JUL090950 Torpedo HC Vol 01 24.99 - Whoa! I almost didn't see this. This is IDW's collection of Alex Toth's TORPEDO comics, apparently designed by Darwyn Cooke. Looking forward to getting a look at this one.
