Get Animated! serves up some of Canada’s finest (and funniest!) animation. Enjoy screening programs, workshops and Q&As with animation directors. From boldly experimental to flat-out funny, there’s something for everyone! All events are FREE and take place at 150 John Street (corner of Richmond St. W.), Toronto ON. 12:30 PM | NFB New Release Family ProgramIn this intimate workshop for children and teens, Oscar®-winning animator Co Hoedeman teaches the basics of animating with paper cut-outs on a lightbox. Participants are divided into small groups, and, working together under Co's guidance, create a short film on the theme of peaceful resolution.

Wednesday, November 2Oscar®-winner Co Hoedeman screens three films, demonstrates his animation techniques and discusses the importance of peaceful values and respect for diversity.
