Palmerston Library, 560 Palmerston Ave (at Bathurst Subway Station)
Featuring authors Michael Cho, Steven Manale, and Jeremy Tankard.
Plus, now welcoming Brian McLachlan!

In conjunction with comics industry holiday FREE COMIC BOOK DAY, The Beguiling is teaming up with The Toronto Public Library, Owlkids, and The Burrow Art Centre to present FREE COMICS FOR KIDS DAY! It's a mini-convention that will feature all kids of events for kids ages 3 and up!
  • Running from 12 noon until 5pm on Saturday May 3rd, 2008!
  • Author presentations by top-notch graphic novel artists and authors, at 1pm and 3pm, including story readings, how-to-draw sessions, and more!
  • Art and craft activites provided by The Burrow Art Centre!
  • FREE COMICS and Owl Magazines for kids under the age of 13! Limit of 3 comics/magazines per person, please.

Jeremy Tankard is an award-winning illustrator and graphic novelist. His first picture book is Grumpy Bird, published by Scholastic, and it's become an instant classic! Michael Cho is the artist of the incredibly popular Max Finder Mystery series, which features mysteries that you and Max solve together! There are three Max Finder Mystery books published by Owlkids!
