In conjunction with comics industry holiday FREE COMIC BOOK DAY, The Beguiling is teaming up with The Toronto Public Library, Owlkids, and The Burrow Art Centre to present FREE COMICS FOR KIDS DAY! It's a mini-convention that will feature all kids of events for kids ages 3 and up!

• Running from 12 noon until 5pm on Saturday May 3rd, 2008!
  
• Author presentations by top-notch graphic novel artists and authors, at 1pm and 3pm, including story readings, how-to-draw sessions, and more!
  
• Art and craft activites provided by The Burrow Art Centre!
• FREE COMICS and Owl Magazines for kids under the age of 13! Limit of 3 comics/magazines per person, please.

Jeremy Tankard is an award-winning illustrator and graphic novelist. His first picture book is Grumpy Bird, published by Scholastic, and it's become an instant classic!
