Very Good Friend Of The Beguiling, Author Derek McCormack (Christmas Days, with Seth) became seriously ill last fall with a very rare cancer. It has been treated, but he will be recovering from the treatment for upwards of six months, and unable to work at all during that time. To help him along during this period, his friends are putting together two fundraising events, Corm-a-rama and http://artforderek.com/. Corm-a-rama will go down on April 10th, and feature performances, raffles, and much more in support of Mr. McCormack. The Beguiling has donated a number of fantastic raffle prizes amongst many other organizations, so we hope you'll come out for the event.

There's also a fabulous online art sale at http://artforderek.com/ where pieces by Seth, Shary Boyle, and dozens of other wonderful artists have donated gorgeous works that will be auctioned begining April 1st. Head to the website for details.
